Pintu Web3 — The Fun Without the Fear

When we set out to build Pintu Web3, one thing was clear:
Web3 was exciting, but also terrifying for most people.

Most Web3 wallets are designed for power users—clunky UX, risky flows, and a ton of jargon. We flipped the script.

Pintu Web3 feels natural, human, and safe—while still giving users full control. It's the first of its kind in Indonesia, and we built it with both first-time crypto users and seasoned dApp explorers in mind.

Above and Beyond My Role

I was there from the very first brief—literally when the CEO pitched the idea:

• Partnered with the creative team to build the sub-brand—not just visuals, but tone, naming, and that subtle vibe that says, “Hey, you’re safe here. Have fun!”

• Sat beside engineers (literally and figuratively) to make sure design was buildable. I even poked around in their code, suggested workarounds, and helped navigate edge cases.

• Ran 3 rounds of usability testing, watching real people try real flows—from setting up wallets to jumping into dApps—and iterated fast on what we learned.

While most Web3 wallets throw users into the deep end,

We used MPC (Multi-Party Computation) so users wouldn’t have to write down or remember keys ever again.
The tech is bulletproof, the experience is smooth and human.

We knew if we wanted real people to use Web3, we had to make it feel less like coding your own spaceship and more like… opening an app.

And that’s what we did.
